harry potter

harry potter was really good. not as scary as i thought it would have been. all the others were a lot darker than this one. although the ending of the movie was pretty dark with all the epic battles and such..... it was indeed very cool....
it was also incredibly funny. hilarious!! not to mention all the teen hormones. which made it even funnier.
oh and by the way i never did finish my mission of reading harry potter and the half blood prince. i'm still reading it though .. i'll let you know when i'm finished with it.

the list

i have created a list. a book list. it's a list of all the books i would like to read. i think it's up to like 15 or so ... and those were only the ones on the top of my head.. ugh .. geez to many books so little time. i just keep discovering new books i would like to read. it's driving me absolutely nutty.

i discovered a blog today about books it was all about books. and they were mostly the kind of books i liked to read..... ah ...and so the list grew!!

it's quite sad how i don't seem to have the time, money, or the space on my book shelve to read soo many books and yet ... i don't seem to care i just keep buying more and more books spending less and less time out in the real world and clearing more space on my shelves. before you know it I'm going to be one of those people who never leave their house... i must stop this madness.. need sunlight ... need social interaction.... ahhh.... dying.. bah hum bug ....

well while i work on balancing a social life and reading as many books as possible you should check out that blog i was talking about ... thebookbind.blogspot.com
maybe you'll find a book worth reading to.

july 4th

"it is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you"
-Dick Cheney

Okay so i know it's late but i haven't been on the computer for a while... SO I'm gonna post now...

July 4th is the day that we (Americans) have put aside to celebrate our freedom. The day we give respect to those few men and women who have chosen to protect this precious land we call home. The day we eat hot dogs and hamburgers, have extra fries with ketchup and mustard mixed together while watching the local high school marching band march down the street playing something patriotic in the your town's parade.

July 4th is a day of fun and laughter, cheerful feelings, and family, but it's also a day of remembering how we've got to be where were at today all the wars we've fought all the loses we've had. All the times we as a country have fallen apart and all the times we've come together.

we should never forget what we have been through to become this beautiful, free country. Let's remeber to celebrate our freedom every single day!!

war

"you cannot prevent and prepare for war at the same time" -Albert Einstein

War is not a subject to be taken lightly. To be honesty i hate talking about stuff like this, but I will do so any way.
i believe that there is no such thing as world peace. although i do believe in peace. war is inescapable. humans have it written in their d.n.a to fight and to cause wars over nothing.
Wars are always caused by one of three things 1. sex 2. money or 3. religion!
i suppose you would want some proof, well i can give you a war for each i cause.... for the first one sex would be troy vs. Greece commonly known for it's place in the Odyssey. the second one, money, which i often feel that money equals power clearly making it the root of all evil comes up as the American revolution. the Americans of course weren't looking for power or more money at the time but Britain was, fortunately for me the Americans had a real reason to win. But enough of that let's move on to number three religion the easy answer to that is the crusades ... which is a no brainer when comes right down to, I mean I don't know the specifics of the crusades in fact i basically no nothing more than that it was about religion .. i know that Christians were involved and i would bet money that either Muslims or Jews or on the other side fighting! but i would put more on it being Muslims.

I hate war and wished it would end but as i said earlier there is no such thing as world peace. i can only hope ad pray that I am wrong!

dream

i often have dreams of my near future. what i will look like, what i will be doing stuff like that. sometimes i think about what my life will look like when i am in my 50s and 60s when my life is starting to fade. i wish i could know for sure what my life would be like in the future. but i know that thinking about t is all i will ever have. i can't know for sure. even if i wanted to. but i look at it like this if i knew the the truth about my future it would be like reading the last page of a very good book..... it would ruin everything. the adventures i would have, the story, the trials, the successes and the failures. life should be a mystery and not a open book. only god should know.
my dreams often consist of me with the ideal children and lots of money two houses and a life worth living a life any one would envy......

......... although i know that isn't the case i still dream!! and i will keep dreaming until i get what i want... or until i get close enough!!

On Saturday June 13Th I turned 18 years of age. it hasn't really sunk in yet. i don't feel any different, am i suppose to. i wouldn't think so.

i had a really cool party though!! i got a bunch of gift cards. however i did get some cash ... oh and a book .. umm.... the HOST by Stephenie Meyer. my sister gave it to me. she can be nice .. when she wants to be! which is not often by the way.
although i would have liked there to been my friends (who are my age) didn't show.. mostly the people who came were people who've seen me in diapers. they told me stories about me when i was a kid and apparently i was quite the talker and i told some tall tales. haha.... not to mention the stories about all the times i called my sister my Shea!! ahh .... ugh..... ha...
everyone was all like were soo proud at how who've grown up.... and you've turned into quite the young lady ...
